Claims

A pair of gripping members are supported on the frame so as to be rotatable about a support shaft, facing each other, and are mutually disposed on one axis perpendicular to the axis of the support shaft on the inside of the opposing side surface of one end of the gripping members. A pair of cylinders are provided that open on the opposite side surfaces, and a piston that moves in and out of the opening is fitted into these cylinders, and one end of the gripping member is directed in a direction in which the opposite side surface comes into contact with the outer end of the piston. An elastic member is provided to bias the gripping member, a stopper member is provided to restrict movement of the one gripping member in the gripping direction, and the inner diameter of the cylinder corresponding to the one gripping member is adjusted to correspond to the other gripping member. A chuck device characterized by being set larger than the inner diameter of the cylinder.
