Claims

A substrate 1 provided with a slit 2, a movable contact plate 5 and a fixed contact plate 7 having a movable contact 6 and a fixed contact 10 respectively abutting on the movable end, and an insulating bimetal plate 11 abutting the movable contact plate 5 in thermal response. An adjustment rod 3 is formed by fixing each end side of [-1 and having an insulating pin 4, and this adjustment rod 3 is bonded to the slit 2 of the substrate 1, and a fixed contact plate 7 is formed at an angle with the substrate 1. A thermostat characterized in that the insulating pin 4 is brought into contact with the insulating pin 4, and a plurality of recesses 9 are provided at the abutment locations between the inclined fixed contact plate 7 and the insulating pin 4.
