Claims

[Scope of utility model registration request]

In a target device in which a cylindrical adapter with pre-stage oil is attached to the outlet of an acceleration box of an accelerator for producing radioisotopes, and a target box with a target foil is attached to this cylindrical adapter, the cylindrical adapter has inner and outer parts. It consists of a spring return type fluid cylinder in which a cylindrical piston that slides against a return spring is inserted between the cylinders, and a cylindrical piston receiver is attached to the outer cylinder to face the cylindrical piston of this fluid cylinder. A trapezoidal gasket is attached to the opposing surfaces of the cylindrical piston and the cylindrical piston receiver via a trapezoidal gasket holder, a slit is provided in the outer cylinder portion facing between the two trapezoidal gaskets, and a plurality of gaskets are inserted into this slit. A front-stage foil cassette having a front-stage foil is slidably inserted therein, a V-groove is provided in the front-stage foil cassette for locking each front-stage foil at each position, and a cassette positioning device engages with the V-groove. A cassette-type front-stage foil changing device for an accelerator, which is constructed by providing a front-stage foil in an outer cylinder, and sandwiching a front-stage foil positioned by engagement of this groove and a cassette positioning device between the trapezoidal packings.
