DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to an improved structure of a spring terminal incorporated into an insulator such as a relay socket.

As shown in FIG. 1, this spring terminal consists of a spring 1 having a structure in which two spring plates are stacked one on top of the other, with an upper end forming a spring portion 2 and the other end forming a terminal portion 3.

As shown in FIG. 2, this spring terminal has a spring portion 2 located within a housing hole 6 of an insulator 5 which is a relay socket.
The cut-and-raised part 4 is assembled so as to come into contact with the lower surface of the insulator stopper 7.

In the conventional case, the spring terminal was installed in the terminal part 3 with respect to the housing hole 6.
However, in this case, the housing hole 6 must be completely open at the top, and when a contact terminal (not shown) such as a relay is inserted into the spring part 2, it may be misaligned, etc. The contact terminal is connected to one side piece of the spring portion 2 and the accommodation hole 6.
There was a drawback that the spring part 2 was inserted between the inner walls or bent.

Furthermore, due to wiring considerations, the terminal section 3 is often opened in the direction of the arrow as shown by the dotted line in Fig. 2, and each spring plate is used independently. Since the spring terminal is opened (cut and raised) in the opposite direction to the opening direction of the terminal part 3, there is a risk that the cut and raised part 4 will be displaced inward when the terminal section is opened, and the spring terminal will fall off from the insulator 5.

For this reason, in the past, the terminal part 3 was cut and raised to prevent the terminal part 4 from narrowing.
Machining such as punching was added to the product, leading to an increase in product cost.

The purpose of the present invention is to solve the above-mentioned conventional drawbacks, and the purpose is to form a spring material by overlapping two pieces of spring material, and one end of which has a spring portion for connection with a contact terminal. A spring in which the other end is open to form a terminal part that can be wired, and a cut-out part is provided in each of the two spring materials between the spring part and the terminal part, and the cut-out part In a spring terminal in which the spring portion is retained in a housing hole of an insulator, the cut and raised portion is formed to open in the same direction as the opening direction of the terminal portion, and the spring is opened upwardly. The spring portion is inserted into a housing hole having a flange portion from the spring portion, and when the spring portion is inserted into the housing hole, the cut and raised portion is also located within the housing hole, and the cut and raised end portion is inserted into the housing hole. It is possible to achieve a fit in a spring terminal characterized by a structure in which the spring terminal contacts an insulator stopper located below the hole.
