  1. 供給される用紙に画像を形成する本体と、この本体に対
    して着脱可能に設けられ前記本体に用紙を供給する給紙
    装置とを具備し、この給紙装置内における用紙の搬送速
    度が前記本体内における用紙の搬送速度よりも大きく設
    定される事を特徴とする画像形成装置。
