Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate mount/dismount of cooling fan to the rotary shaft by providing a notch having section parallel with an engaging groove and shaft end face in a portion of circumferential face at the rear end section of rotary shaft while providing an operating chip having a nail to be inserted into said groove on the tubular section of fan boss. CONSTITUTION:An engaging groove 22 perpendiculr with the axis is made in a portion of circumferential face at the rear end section of rotary shaft 3 while a notch having a planar section 21 parallel with the axis is provided in the end face of shaft. A cantilever operating chip 17 is formed at the tubular section of a fan boss 12 fitted to the shaft end by two axial cuttings having nail 16 to be inserted into said groove 22 while a projection 18 to be engaged with said notched planar section 21 is provided on the bottom of said boss 12.
