The turntable or the disk can be moved up and down by supplying an up-down switching signal from the control circuit to the drive circuit, and this up-down operation is performed by detecting the reset position of the pickup body that moves in the radial direction of the disk. In the up-down circuit, an inhibition circuit is connected to the signal path of the up-down switching signal to inhibit movement of the pickup body based on the obtained reset position detection signal, and the inhibition circuit is obtained by detecting the rotation speed of the turntable. 1.
