Claims

In a magnetic recording and reproducing device that performs a loading operation of pulling out a magnetic tape from a video cassette and placing it in a predetermined position by rotating a loading ring, a cam surface that positions a pinch lock arm so that a pinch roller presses a capstan against the loading ring.
