Abstract

PURPOSE:To prepare a coating which can be readily stripped off from a substrate, by using as vehicle a synthetic resin to which wax, etc. have been added for adjustment of adhesive power. CONSTITUTION:Wax, oil and fat, etc. are added to a synthetic resin (e.g. styrene/butadiene, acrylic or ethylene/vinyl acetate resin) to reduce adhesive power of the resin to an appropriate level and then colorant, plasticizer, antioxidant, etc. are added to the resin to form the aimed strippable coating.

It is a mixture of T, C, P, etc. and also an antioxidant and a coloring agent. Unlike paints on the market, this can be removed and peeled off at any time without the use of stripping agents, solvents, etc. The container can be used as a water-soluble paint by using a porous resin such as Matashi, which can be manufactured with a simple device consisting of a stainless steel tank and a stirrer.
