Claims

In a chain tensioner, one end of a tensioner spring provided by winding around the base is locked to the base, and the other end is pivoted to the base and abuts the tensioner arm to bias the tensioner arm toward the chain. A chain tensioner characterized in that a tensioner arm abutting end is bent in the axis direction of the tensioner arm, and its tip is further bent in the direction of a base locking end of a tensioner spring to abut the tensioner arm.
