Claims

A movable bottom plate whose rear end is pivotally supported at the bottom of the sheet storage container is pushed up by an arm fixed to a bottom plate rotating shaft rotated by a drive motor, and the upper surface of the paper stack placed on it is pushed up to a predetermined position. The paper feeding device feeds paper in order from the top by pressing a paper feeding member against the upper east surface of the paper, and the power transmission from the drive motor to the shaft for rotating the bottom plate is performed by the drive motor.
