Claims

[Scope of utility model registration request]

(1) A surge arrester having a surge arrester element housed in a first insulator tube, a circuit breaker placed and coupled on the surge arrester and having a interrupting part housed in a second insulator tube, and a circuit breaker disposed below the lightning arrester. A switching device comprising an operation mechanism for the circuit breaker provided therein.

(2) The switchgear according to claim 1, wherein the connecting shaft connecting the circuit breaker and the operating mechanism is arranged spatially in parallel with the lightning arrester element within the first insulator tube.
