A vacuum cleaner that has a dust collection side case with a dust disposal opening closed by a front lid that can be opened and closed on the suction port side to which the suction hose is connected, and a filter is installed in the air passage inside the dust collection side case. In the filter, two disc-shaped filter plates are combined to form a flat air passage between the filter plates via a spacing member, and a plurality of filters are connected to a rotating shaft in a multistage manner and supported. A vacuum cleaner characterized in that a fixed dust remover is inserted between the filter plates, and when the filter is rotated, the tip of the dust remover hits the inner peripheral base of the spacing member.
