ップの状態等の情報に関する文字情報を記憶したメモリ
と、該検出手段により電源投入が検出されたとき及び使
用者の操作によりチェックモードとされたとき該情報に
応じて該メモリのアドレスを発生するアドレス発生手段
と、該アドレス発生手段よりのアドレスによって該メモ
リより文字情報を読み出す読み出し手段と、読み出され
た文字情報に対応した文字信号を発生し、撮像により得
られた映像信号に該文字信号を加算して該電子ビューフ
ァインダに表示せしめる文字信号発生器と、該映像信号
の記録を行なうとき該文字信号発生器をクリアして該文
字信号の発生を停止させる文字信号クリア手段とよりな

信号の記録を行なうとき該文字信号発生器をクリアして
該文字信号の発生を停止させる文字信号クリア手段とよ
