Conventional structure and its problems Conventionally, in this type of dehumidifying clothes dryer, as a method for detecting the completion of drying, a pair of electrodes is placed inside the rotating drum.
The degree of wetness of the clothing is detected by the electrical resistance between the electrodes, and if the degree of wetness is high, that is, the electrical resistance is small, drying is continued, and the degree of wetness decreases and the electrical resistance increases. In such a case, the hot air supply would be stopped. However, according to this method, the clothing must be positioned so as to short-circuit between a pair of electrodes, and since the movement of the clothing is extremely complicated, it is difficult to constantly detect accurate electrical resistance. was disadvantageous.

Structure of the Invention The dehumidifying clothes dryer of the present invention has a circulation blade that circulates hot and humid air in a rotating drum, and a cooling blade that takes in outside air and at the same time transfers the temperature difference with the outside air to exchange heat. The electrode that detects the scattered water that has condensed on the circulation blade is exposed to the air flow path of the cooling blade, so that the electrode body is forcibly cooled, and even a small amount of scattered water is re-condensed on the electrode surface, and the detection accuracy is improved. When this electrode no longer detects splashed water, the hot air supply device stops operating.

Reference numeral 17 denotes a pair of electrodes for detecting scattered water provided on the inner wall of the separation fan case 7. The detection surface of the electrode 17 is exposed to the airflow path of the circulation blade 5, and the main body of the electrode 17 is connected to the cooling blade 6.
It is placed exposed on the airflow path side. The water condensed in the circulation path 5 is scattered by the rotation of the circulation blades 5, and when this scattered water comes into contact with the sensing portion of the electrodes 17, the electrical resistance between the electrodes 17 is greatly reduced. Furthermore, the main body side of the electrode 17 is cooled by the cooling air of the cooling blades 6, and as a result, the electrode main body is cooled, and the detection surface of the electrode 17 prevents even small amounts of scattered water and humid air from condensing on the surface between the electrodes. It has the effect of increasing sensitivity. As described above, the rotating drum 2, double-blade fan 4, separation fan case 7, ventilation duct 10, heater case 9, and heater 8 constitute a circulation path, which is kept airtight by sealing.

On the other hand, the cooling blades 6 of the double-blade fan 4 take in outside air from the intake port 16 provided on the back of the main body 1, so the cooling blades 6 are cooled by the outside air and transferred to the circulation blades 5, creating a heat exchange effect. . Therefore, the high-temperature and humid air passing through the circulation vanes 5 is dew-condensed and becomes water droplets, which are scattered and guided to the drain port 11 where they are blown toward the ventilation duct 10 side. The air subjected to the cooling effect is led to the exhaust port 16 and exhausted to the outside of the machine,
The flow of this cooling air is indicated by arrow c. In addition, the air taken in by the cooling blades 6 is placed in a position to cool the main body of the electrode 17, so that it is always forcedly cooled.

FIG. 3 shows an electrical circuit, and 19 is a control unit, which is supplied with power via a power cord 20. Reference numeral 21 denotes a start switch that energizes the motor 12 and heater 8 by suppressing operation. Here, if a short circuit occurs between the pair of electrodes 17 due to splashed water and humid air and the resistance value is low, the motor 12 and heater 8 are energized, the control unit 19 is operated, and the circulation blade 5
When the splashed water no longer flows out, the electrical resistance of the electrode 17 increases, and the control unit 19 operates to stop energizing the motor 12 and heater 8. In addition, in the early stage of drying, there is no splashed water or humid air generated from the circulation blades 5, and the resistance value of the electrode 17 is large, but the control unit 19 is configured so as not to stop the energization of the motor 12, etc. at this point. ing.

As the drying progresses and the water and humid air flying from the circulation blades 5 disappear, the electrical resistance detected by the electrodes 17 increases, causing the control unit 19 to stop energizing the motor 12 and heater 8, thereby stopping the drying process. Terminate it.

Effects of the Invention As is clear from the above embodiments, the dehumidifying clothes dryer of the present invention is provided with an electrode for detecting the scattered water condensed on the circulation blade, and this electrode body is exposed to the air flow path of the cooling blade. By forcing the electrode body to cool and re-condensing the sensing part of the electrode, it is possible to detect small amounts of scattered water and hot and humid air, resulting in extremely sensitive performance and extremely high accuracy. The change in the detection resistance value of the electrode is large, which is advantageous in determining the dry state, and it does not require an expensive and highly accurate device that greatly amplifies the detection signal from the electrode, so it can be constructed at low cost.
