The oxygen absorbing properties of an oxygen scavenger vary depending on the properties of the main components of the oxygen scavenger, such as iron, but the properties of the packaging material surrounding it are also deeply involved in the performance of the oxygen scavenger. In particular, the oxygen absorption rate is determined by the air permeability of the packaging material. In addition, when oxygen absorbers are applied to dry foods or humid foods, the performance of the oxygen absorber is greatly affected by the exchange of moisture between the oxygen absorber and the food, and this exchange of moisture also affects the packaging material. Structure is deeply involved.

The packaging material for oxygen absorbers is generally a laminate of paper and perforated polyethinone film.
When this method is applied to foods with a high moisture content, the packaging material becomes damp, resulting in disadvantages such as damage to the packaging bag for the oxygen absorber or deterioration of its appearance.

JP-A-55-51096 discloses making holes in two plastic films with different melting points and stacking them as they are, or laminating and bonding them with paper in between to make a packaging material for an oxygen absorber. However, in this case,
Since the film is thermally bonded after opening the holes, the holes may be deformed or closed during bonding, making it difficult to stably obtain a packaging material with the desired uniform air permeability. . Furthermore, there is a drawback that the air permeability changes depending on the pressure bonding state of each film or paper during adhesion. Also, JP-A-56-124440 or JP-A-56-124441
There is a disclosure with similar content, but this case also has the disadvantage that the air permeability varies greatly depending on the pressure bonding condition during lamination. The inventors of the present invention have conducted extensive research on packaging materials for oxygen absorbers that do not damage the appearance even when applied to foods with high moisture content, and can freely adjust air permeability. Sheet + 311 pairs made by laminating a plastic film or transparent paper with holes (1) and a paper made by incorporating polyethylene or a plastic with a lower softening point during papermaking (2) without pasting. By trapping (2) inside and facing each other, inserting an oxygen absorber between them and sealing the four sides, an oxygen absorber package with excellent air permeability was created, and the present invention was completed.

In the present invention, a needle having a shape such as a cone, a square pyramid, a pentagonal pyramid, or a cylinder with a pointed tip is used to make a hole in a plastic film or paper. The size of the hole can be adjusted by adjusting the thickness of the needle, the pressure used when making the hole, etc. Also, by heating the needle, it is possible to make holes with a uniform shape.

To manufacture the oxygen absorber package according to the present invention, a perforated plastic film or a perforated transparent paper f1
A pair of sheets (filters) made by stacking + and paper (2) made of polyethylene or a plastic with a lower softening point incorporated during paper making without pasting are placed facing each other with (2) on the inside. A method is used in which an oxygen absorber is placed in the container and sealed on all sides to enclose the oxygen absorber. For concrete traps, a vertical or horizontal four-sided seal type automatic filling machine is used. In a four-sided seal type automatic filling machine, four feeding rollers are required, and (1) and (21) are provided in rolls on each side. After (1) is unwound on both the left and right sides,
A desired number and size of holes are made according to the purpose through a punching device, and the sheet is rolled out (21) to form a sheet (6), with (2) inside to form a sheet (3). are sent to the guide of a four-sided sealing machine so that they face each other. Then, they are filled with an oxygen absorber, sealed on all sides, and cut to obtain an oxygen absorber package.

The oxygen absorber package of the present invention does not require complicated processing steps when manufacturing the packaging material, has less product loss, and can make the required number of perforations in the required locations. In addition, the number and size of holes can be arbitrarily adjusted according to the size of the bag during bag making, and if the packaging materials in (1) and (21) are prepared, the holes can be controlled during bag making. It is possible to easily manufacture various types of oxygen scavenger packages.Furthermore, since there is a gap between sheet (1) and sheet (2), the air permeability of each material can be maintained as is. It is possible to obtain stable air permeability.
