Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a temperature difference from taking place in the water in an outside burner type bathtub by a method wherein water heated by an outside burner is allowed to flow into the bathtub from the bottom part of the latter. CONSTITUTION:Switching mechanisms 9 and 10 are provided in an upper inlet port 4 and pipes are so arranged that the water heated by the outside burner 2 flows into the bathtub from the bottom part of the latter. When water is supplied into the bathtub, the upper inlet port 4 is opened by operating the switching mechanisms 9 and 10 and when the level 3 of the water reaches higher than the upper inlet port 4, air standing in the section B is driven away. Further, when the burner 2 is ignited after closing the upper inlet port 4 by the operations of the switching mechanisms 9 and 10, the water entering the section B is heated and circulates through the pipes without flowing reversely into the inlet port 4 and then through the bathtub in the direction of the arrow so that no difference between the temperatures of the upper part and the lower part of the hot water in the bathtub takes place.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention is a method of eliminating the difference in water temperature by causing the water heated in the outer pot type bathtub (1) to flow out to the bottom.

In the conventional outer pot type bathtub (1), water flows in from the lower inlet (5), is heated by a burner (2), etc., and then passes through the upper inlet (4).
Even though the water above the upper inlet (4) was hot, the water below the lower inlet (5) was hardly heated, and the temperature difference between the upper and lower parts was large.

Furthermore, when checking the temperature of the water or when taking a bath, it was necessary to stir the water from top to bottom, which was cumbersome.

In order to eliminate this drawback, the present project is equipped with opening/closing mechanisms (9) and (10) at the upper inlet (4), and is further piped so that the water heated by the burner (2) etc. flows out to the bottom. be.

When injecting water, operate the opening/closing mechanisms (9) and (10) to open the valve, and when the water level (3) is at the upper inlet, and when water is injected below (4), the water flows as shown by the arrow on the left side of Fig. 4 and reaches part B. Eliminate air pockets.

When igniting, operate the opening/closing mechanisms (9) and (10) to close the valve and ignite, and the water in section B is heated and circulates as shown by the lower arrow in Figure 5 without flowing back into the upper inlet (4). Inside the bathtub, the water circulates as shown by the arrows in Figure 1, eliminating the difference in temperature between the upper and lower baths.
