Claims

an audio multiplex recording medium in which a vocal signal is recorded on a first track and a music signal is recorded on a second track; a first reproduction means for reproducing the signal of the first track of the audio multiplex recording medium; a second reproducing means for reproducing a signal on a second track of a multiplexed recording medium; a first amplifying means for amplifying a microphone signal; a second amplifying means for mixing and amplifying the respective outputs of the means to drive a speaker; a signal presence/absence determining means for determining the presence or absence of an output from the first reproducing means; and a display body lit by the output of the signal presence/absence determining means. 1. A performance device comprising display drive setting means for driving and displaying a display only during reproduction of a vocal signal recorded on a first track of an audio multiplex recording medium.
