Claims

[Scope of utility model registration request]

(1) In an ignition plug in which a rod-shaped insulator with a shaft hole through which a rod-shaped center electrode is inserted is fitted into a cylindrical mounting bracket, the portion of the rod-shaped center electrode that protrudes from the tip of the insulator is connected to the insulator. An ignition plug characterized by comprising a core material with good thermal conductivity formed in the shape of a flat brim with a flat end surface corresponding to the tip surface, and a heat-resistant metal layer adhered to the surface of the core material.
