燥する。この表皮パネル数枚とリボン状ゴムは、革貼成
型機の半球状内面に順次吸着させながら装填し、次に接
着剤を塗布乾燥したボール基体をこの革貼成型機に内蔵
せしめて、該ボール基体内に6kg/cdの圧縮空気を
注入し、天然皮革パネルおよびリボン状ゴムとボール基
体の圧着を果たすのである。

刻設された金型内にいれて加硫することにより接着して
ボール基体が作られていた。従って区画リブ3はボール
基体と一体に作られ、これにゴム系接着剤を塗布乾燥し
ておいて、一方所定形状に裁断した天然皮革(又は合成
皮革)の表皮パネルにゴム系接着剤を塗布乾燥したもの
を前記ボニル基体の区画リブ3・に囲まれた区画内に手
で嵌めるようにして革貼りを行なう方法が採られていた
。この従来の方法によるときは次のような多くの欠点が
伴った。 (イ)ボール基体を加硫する金型の製作加工が複雑で必
然的に高価なものとなった。 (ロ)ボール基体を加硫するとき、凸状をなず区画リブ
3の不良品が発生し易かった(リブ部のゴム材料充填の

の区画パターンに配されるところの区画リブ7はリボン
状に形成された黒色天然ゴム配合のゴム材料よりなり、
所定の断面形状(縦1.3fi横5mm長方形)で押出
機より押出成形加硫して前記ボール基体と接着する面に
はゴム系接着剤4を塗布乾燥しておく。 また、区画リブ7に囲まれた区画内に配されるところの
平板状の表皮パネル8はしぼをつけた天然皮革を所定の
サイズ形状に裁断、印刷、こばそぎを行ない前記区画リ
ブ7と同様接着面にゴム系接着剤4を塗布乾燥する。こ
の表皮パネル8数枚及びリボン状の区画リブ7は、革貼
成型機の半球状内面に順次吸着させながら装填し、次に
接着剤を塗布乾燥したボール基体をこの革貼成型機に内
蔵せしめて、該ポール基体内に6 kg/cjの圧縮空
気を注入し、表皮パネル8及び区画リブ7をボール基体
に圧着せしめるのである。 上述した如くこの発明は、外面を無起伏かつ滑らかに形
成されたボール基体、該ボール基体外面に所定パターン
に接着されたリボン状ゴムからなる区画リブ7、上記ボ
ール基体外面にあって上記区画リブ7にて囲まれた領域
に接着された表皮パネル8を備えてなるものである。 この発明によれば、革張りポールの性能外観は従来のバ
スケットボールに比べて劣るところはなく、また生産能
率においては従来法の手張りに比べて3〜4倍も向上し
、区画リブ7の材質色彩は必要な好みにiじたものが得
られる利点がある。 第3図に示すこの発明の第2の実施例は、第1の実施例
における中張カバーゴム6を無くし、カバー成型加硫の
工程を省略してコストダウンを図ったものである。すな

ロン6.6m糸を数本引揃えながら延4000mになる
