Abstract

PURPOSE:To make an external appearance of a joined part smooth and to enhance an operability in welding by performing a bending by providing a notch having a shape of isosceles triangle, which is formed so that a perpendicular dropped from its vertex coincides with a bending line of one side and the adjoining bending lines intersect each other at the vertex, in manufacturing a box body. 折曲げ加工のみで仕上げようとした場合、接合部4には
切欠き3の切断端部が露出されるので、外観上好ましく
ないと共に、人体等を傷つける危険性があり、これを防
止するため、一般には溶接によつて肉盛りを行っていた
ものである。しかし、この場合にも、接合部4は図に示
すごとく金属板1の端面の一辺が線接触するのみであり
、かど溶接となって溶接が極めて困難であると共に、密
閉構造にする場合には溶接棒等の補助的な溶接剤によっ
て肉盛りをしなけれは、溶接不良が生じて液漏れ等が生
し易くなるものであった。さらに、研磨加工等によって
仕上げを行う場合にも角部であるため作業を行いづらく
、見栄えの良い仕上げをするためにはかなりの熟練を必
要としていた。

うことができる板金等の折曲げ加工方法を提供するもの

くなると共に、研磨加工等の仕上げ作業も容易に行いう
るものとなる。
