Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a camera from malfunction with a simple constitution requiring no film winding discriminating switch or the like and to improve the reliability of the camera by taking out information from the working of a shutter and controlling a working element. CONSTITUTION:When a movable chip SC of a shutter switch interlocked with a shutter is moved from a fixed contact SA to a fixed contact SB and abutted to the contact SB, a shorted capacitor C1 is charged and the output of a comparator CP is inverted to the high level. The abutted status between the movable chip SC and the contact SB is continued until the film winding is completed and the movable chip SC is abutted to the contact SA again. Therefore, an input terminal (a) of an IC for the working element AE for date copying and selftimer is kept at the high level and the element AE is not worked until the completion of the film winding. In such a simple constitution requiring no film winding discriminating switch or the like, and auto-date copying, selftimer, etc. are prevented from malfunction and the reliability of the camera is improved.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION In recent years, electronic cameras equipped with control circuits such as ICs have come into widespread use due to the trend towards cameras that are portable, easy to operate, and have good performance.

These electronic cameras had the effect of reducing the number of parts compared to conventional mechanical cameras, but on the other hand, these electronic cameras had many switches installed inside the camera to transmit information. I had to take it out. Switches such as these do not require contact and may cause accidents.
There has been a demand for electronic cameras to be able to perform necessary operations with as few switches as possible.

In cameras with conventional electronic circuits, when the release switch is turned on even when the film has not been advanced (the preparation for shooting has not been completed), the self-timer, which is an electrical operating element, is activated. There were disadvantages in that the display lamp would light up and people would misunderstand that you were taking a picture, and the date device would work with auto-date cameras and imprint the date. Conventionally, as a countermeasure against this problem, a switch was used to determine whether or not winding of the film was completed. Figure 1 shows a conventional circuit diagram. sl and s2 are the first and second stage switches when the release button is pressed, and sw is a switch for determining whether to wind up the fill 1 or the next spring. When the determination switch sw determines whether the film will be released next spring by the circuit, the self-timer light emitting element LED, which is an operating element, is controlled not to light up even if the switches S1 and S2 are turned on. When such technical means for preventing malfunctions are busy, the number of parts increases, which often causes failures and the like.

When the film is wound, the output signal of the comparator CP is LOW, so by turning on the release switch SS, the voltage at the input terminal ICa of the IC becomes lower than, for example, 1.4V, and the IC starts operating. Then, the self-timer display or date imprinting, which is the operating element AE, is performed.

When the release button is pressed with the film loaded next spring, the output signal of the comparator CP will be HI as described above.
Since it is set to GH, turn on the release switch SS.
