Claims (1)

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. エンジンの軽負荷時や無負荷時に燃料の供給が遮断され
    作動を休止する休止側気筒と、常時燃料と新気が供給さ
    れ作動を継続する稼動側気筒とを備える一方、出力軸に
    ロックアツプ機構を設けたトルクコンバータを介して自
    動変速機を連結した車両用の多気筒エンジンにおいて、
    前記休止側気筒の作動を休止および復帰する際には、前
    記ロックアツプ機構の作動を解除する制御手段を設けた
    ことを特徴とする気筒数制御エンジン。
