ールから記録紙を搬送ローラにより搬送する際、前記イ
ンクテープ表面のインク層をサーマルヘッドにより溶融
して前記記録紙に転写する感熱転写記録装置において、
前記インクテ−プと記録紙とをそれぞれ相対向する断面
形状が゛山形のプラテンに装架することにより前記プラ
テンの先端部でインクテープと記録紙とを接触させ、そ
の接触個所近傍に薄板状のサーマルヘッドをその先部の
発熱体とインクテープとが接触するように配置し、該イ
ンクテープのインク層の表面を溶融して記録紙に転写を
行い、その転写後インクテープのインク層の窪みを表面
温度が一定温度以上に保たれた再生ローラにより均一に
