ポンプの吐出する圧力流体の作用によりステアリングホ
イールへ加えられる操舵力を増大して操向車輪へ伝達す
るアクチュエータと、前記ステアリングホイールの操舵
を検出する操舵検出手段と、該操舵検出手段の出力信号
に基づいて前記ステアリングホイールが操舵された時の
み前記モータを通電する駆動手段と、を備えた車両用パ
ワーステアリング装置において、車両搭載エンジンの起
動時を検出するエンジン起動時検出手段と、該エンジン
起動時検出手段の出力信号に基づいて前記ステアリング
ホイールの操舵の有無にかかわらず前記エンジンの起動
時から所定時間前記モータを通電する制御回路と、を有
