Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the generations of noise and vibration by a method wherein a guidance device, providing a runner with pre-rotation, is provided at the entrance of the runner for the centrifual fan so as to be capable of providing the runner with proper pre-rotation in any air quantity zone. CONSTITUTION:The guidance device 9 is provided at the entrance of the runner of the centrifugal fan and the downstream of an air quantity regulating damper 8. The guidance device is consisting of a plurality of guide plates 9a and respective guide plates 9a are fixed in substantially parallel mutually with optimum angle to provide the runner with the pre-rotation. In case the air quantity is reduced by choking the air quantity regulating damper, the guidance device 9 is independent of said damper 8, therefore, the angle of the guidance device 9 may be maintained independently of the opening degree of the damper. Accordingly, the direction of airflow is changed forcibly in the guidance device 9 into a direction in accordance with the angle of the guide plate 9 even if the direction of suction in the air quantity regulating damper 8 is any other direction, and the proper pre-rotation is provided to the runner. As a result, noise and vibration may be prevented in any zone of air quantity.
