本発明はパターンもようを有する物品、特にタイヤトレ
ッドの金型用マスターモデルの製造方法の改良に関する

よう(溝等)を有しない石膏原型3を作り、次いで、第
1図乙のようにトレッドパターンrfJ(図示せず)を
見ながらハイドゲージ等を用い′C石こう原型5の表面
にトレッドパターンもよう4をけ書きし、第1図dのよ
うに彫刻機(図示せず)を使ってパターン溝等5を堀り
、マスターモデル6を完成させるのである。このように
従来方法では、石膏原型の作成、け書き、及び彫刻の5
工稈を必要とし、特に、け書き作業はタイヤ1の例えば
144ピースとはいえ、曲面を有する五にトレッドパタ
ーンもようが多くの場合複雑であるから、熟練者でも長
時間を要し、全体として工期がかかり過ぎ生産性が悪い
