Claims

[Scope of utility model registration request]

A vertical cooler that has a raw material charging inlet and a product outlet at the top and bottom of the cooler body, respectively, and a cooling gas introduction means and a raw material distribution means in the center of the cooler body, the upper half of which is conical. A raw material distributor having a crowned inverted conical shape in its lower half is supported by a vertical cylinder serving as the cooling girth introducing means, and along a circumferential portion of the vertical cylinder protruding into the raw material distributor. A vertical cooler characterized by having a gas injection port.
