    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 複数の工具ポットを有する工具マガジンと、この工具マ
    ガジンと工作機械主軸との間の床上に設置された案内路
    上を移動可能にされた工具交換機構とを備えた自動工具
    交換装置において、本装置を上方から見て主軸中心軸線
    と前記案内路とを主軸の工具交換位置で近接させるとと
    もに、前記案内路を主軸頭の後方に向って主軸中心軸線
    から次第に遠ざかるように延長し、かつ、この案内路に
    沿って複数の工具マガジンを床上に配置したことを特徴
    とする自動工具交換装置。
