Claims

In a structure in which an outside handle attached to the outer panel of a vehicle opening/closing body and a key cylinder are arranged approximately horizontally, a reinforcing plate bent in an approximately U-shape is attached between the outside handle and the key cylinder. One end of the outside handle is fixed to the back surface of the outer panel at the attachment site of the outside handle, and the other end supports the inside end of the key cylinder, while the outside handle and the key cylinder are interposed between the outside handle and the key cylinder. A key cylinder mounting structure characterized in that the upper surface of a bent portion of a reinforcing plate is brought into contact with the lower surface of a support stage of an outer panel formed above the mounting portion of the key cylinder.
