Claims (1)

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 計器盤下位に配置される固定部材から車幅方向に並んで
    垂設される一対の垂下片とこの垂下片に固定的に支架さ
    れる支軸とにより抱持されていて、内部にステアリング
    シャフトが貫通するステアリングコラムを有するステア
    リング装置において、ステアリングコラムに固着されて
    いて、このステアリングコラムの横腹部より垂下される
    金属片からなり、かつ支軸が挿通されていて前記ステア
    リングコラムの軸方向に沿って長孔が突設されるエネル
    ギ吸収片を備え、このエネルギ吸収片の長孔は前記支軸
    挿通位置からステアリングハンドル側にかけて前記支軸
    の直径より小さい幅を有することを特徴とするステアリ
    ング装置。
