Claims

Three contacts 12A, 12B, 12C are provided in the housing 14 of the plug 10, parallel to each other and equally spaced, and a fitting recess 15 is provided at the tip of the housing from which the tip of each contact protrudes. A fitting convex portion 17 that fits into the fitting recess is provided at the tip of the housing 21 of the socket 11 that is connected to the plug, and a contact of the plug fits into the fitting convex portion to establish electrical contact. Three holes 22A, 22B, and 22C are provided at equal intervals for the contact, and one of the three holes on both sides is formed with a diameter different from the other one, and one of the three holes is formed with a diameter different from the other one. A cable connector characterized in that one of the two sides is formed with a different diameter so as to fit into a hole in a rectifier having a different diameter when applied to three-phase alternating current.
