Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the cooling efficiency by equalizing the outer diameter of approx. 3/4 or larger of the outer periphery of an outer fan cover to the outer diameter of a motor body, and gradually increasing the axial size of a vent passage between the outer fan and the outer fan cover in a rotating direction. CONSTITUTION:The size of the outer diameter of approx. 3/4 of the outer periphery of an outer fan cover 45 for covering the outer fan 3 is equalized to the outer diameter of a motor body, and the axial size of a vent passage 46 between the outer fan 3 and the cover 45 is gradually increased. Thus, an air guide 47 is sequentially moved toward the rotating shaft direction in a direction of an arrow A, thereby increasing the size W1 to W3. An exhaust port 45b is formed at the remaining 1/4 part of the outer periphery, and air is fed to a heat exchanger (not shown). An air suction hole 45a is formed on the side face of the cover 45. れ、外周の一部に前記空気冷却器4に向けて冷却用空気
を送り込む吐出口5bが設けられている。

イト47が外扇カバー45と一体的に傾斜して取付けら
れている。このエアガイド47は内周が吸気口45aの
吸込管45dの外周に沿うように形成されている。前記
通風路46の入口には外扇8の外周と適当な間隙を保ち
