However, as telephones have become more widespread in recent years, people have shifted from having them for shared use to having them for personal use.
Since I take fewer calls from other people, I end up losing contact with them when I leave my seat.

However, if the range where the amplification can be received is limited, or there is a high possibility that the call will be overheard, or if all missed calls use this method, the amplification will be carried out frequently, and even unrelated people will be able to hear it. There are drawbacks such as:

When a person first picks up a telephone, the off-hook status is communicated to the controller 4 via the two subscriber circuits. The control unit 4 gives a dial tone sending instruction to two subscriber circuits, and a dial tone is sent to one telephone. The person then registers with the pager, for example by dialing '1001' (a). This setting dial data is transmitted to the control unit 4 via the two subscriber circuits, where the dial data is analyzed. The pager is registered and the pager number is

can be conveyed to. After decoding, the control unit 4 sets up an incoming call display in the memory unit 3 shown in FIG.
Suppose that B is on-hook with telephone 1B after calling the pager (E). The pager held by A rings. When the called person answers using the nearest telephone 1N and dials ``001'', this dial information is transmitted to the control unit 4 via the subscriber circuit 2N, and the dial information is transmitted to the control unit 4 via the subscriber circuit 2N, The memory contents of are checked. This memory content is pager number “○01”
There is an incoming call, and the control unit 4 writes that the calling telephone is 1B and its status is on-hook waiting, so the control unit 4 sends a special message to the telephone 1B indicating that it is a response to a pager call. Since the subscriber circuit 2B is instructed to send a ringing tone, a special ringing tone sounds on the telephone 1B (G). If B responds, (g) control unit 4
Instructs the connection of the telephones 1B and 1N to the communication path 5, and also controls the communication state of the subscriber circuits 2B and 2N, so that the telephones IB and 1N are in the communication state, and A and B are in the communication state (man). Also, at this time, the control section 4 rewrites the state of the memory 3, dials the caller's telephone shown in FIG. 2, and prepares for the next call (No).

At this time, if the person called by the caller responds, the control unit 4 sends a signal tone to the subscriber circuit 2N indicating that the caller is busy, based on the memory contents shown in FIG. The signal tone can still be heard on the telephone 1N. B
When the caller in FIG. 4 finishes using the telephone, the control unit 4 changes the caller's usage state in FIG. The result is the same as that, and the call is between telephones 1N and 1B.

Telephone contact can be made from anywhere within possible range. In addition, if the caller is away from their desk when making a call, the caller can know from Mensage, and if the caller wishes to continue the call, the caller can be notified by Mensage and the caller can be called directly by pager. This provides a speedy and reliable means of communication for the called party.
