[Detailed Description of the Invention] This invention relates to containers made of styrofoam, and attempts to provide something useful for reinforcing the bottom container when used in a stacked manner.

In conventional Styrofoam containers with lids, the first
As shown in Figures to Figure 4, the container body 1 is covered with a lid 2 having a spigot portion 2' along the inner wall surface of its upper edge, and a convex portion 1a is provided on one side of the bottom of the container body 1. A recess 2a was formed on the upper surface of the lid body 2 so as to match the projection 1a.

These convex portions 1a and concave portions 2a are provided to prevent the containers from shifting when the entire containers are stacked.

However, when containers are stacked in several tiers (see Figure 5), the load of the stacked containers is greatest on the bottom container, but the entire load is received by the rising part (peripheral wall) of the container. Instead, it is received at the corner part C of the container body 1, and the acting force is not a compressive force on the peripheral wall of the container body but acts as a shearing force generated at the corner part C, resulting in a significant weakening of the strength.

Therefore, this idea aims to provide a container made of expanded polystyrene in which the total load does not act as a shearing force on the lowest container when stacked, as described above, by taking advantage of its characteristic compressibility, and its structure. consists of a container body and a lid, each made of styrofoam, and the lid has a part of the spigot along the inner side of the upper edge of the container body so that it can be covered over the container body, and the bottom of the container body is is provided with a convex leg, the convex leg is shaped to be able to follow the inner side of the upper edge of the container body, and is also shaped to be able to follow the side wall of the recess formed on the top surface of the lid; A groove is formed around the periphery, and when the entire container is stacked,
It is characterized in that the convex legs at the bottom of the lowermost container are compressed under full load so that they are flush with the bottom of the container.

Reference numeral 12 denotes a convex leg provided at the bottom of the container body 10, and when the entire containers are stacked, the outer periphery of the convex leg 12 is attached to the container body 1.

Moreover, it is formed in a shape that can follow the side wall of the recess 22 formed on the upper surface of the lid body 20 (it is lower than or the same depth as the recess, and actually has a slight play (tolerance)).

When the entire container is stacked with its contents, the convex leg 12 at the bottom of the lowermost container is compressed by the full load so that it is flush with the bottom surface of the container.

As an example, containers containing 10 kg are stacked in 10 stages, and the pressure receiving area by the convex legs 12 of the container body 10 is 40 cm.
2, the depth of the surrounding groove 13 was 5 mm, and the height d of the convex leg 12 was 5 mm, and the specific gravity of the container was 0.
02, the convex leg 12 of the lowest container is compressed and becomes flush with the bottom surface of the container body 10, and the entire load of the 10-tier stack is received by the entire peripheral wall of the container. The problem of acting as a local shear force has been resolved.
