Inside the main body case 1, a remaining tape amount indicator plate 8 is disposed in contact with the outer peripheral surface of the tape 3 wound around the hub 4 so as to move in accordance with the increase/decrease in the amount of tape wound on the hub 4. The tape cartridge is characterized in that the remaining amount display board 8 is colored, and the outer surface of the main body case 1 is provided with a viewing window 15 through which the color of the remaining tape amount display board 8 can be visually confirmed.
