ない難点があった。[Detailed Description of the Invention] This invention involves winding a curled small rlJ veneer cut by a veneer lace onto a reel to form a rolled ball, and easily and reliably taking out the curled small and medium veneer from this rolled ball. When cutting veneers from raw wood using a small lJ single veneer lace that can be fed to the next process, many small and medium veneers are produced at the beginning of cutting, and these small and medium veneers curl due to back cracking. In addition, as the speed of veneer lace has increased, various means have been tried to wind up these small and medium veneers onto reels in order to automatically process them. However, these small and medium veneers are wound onto the reel with the curled inner surface facing inside, so that the winding of the small and medium veneers onto the reel or roll is done smoothly, but when unwinding, Since the ends of the small and medium veneers are curved inward, it is difficult to always reliably remove the small and medium veneers from the roll by simply reversing the roll for unwinding. was there.

When winding up and unwinding the board, a roller or the like is used to push the center of the roll, thereby making it possible to always reliably remove curled small and medium-sized veneers from the roll.

The figure shown in FIG.
The figure (b) shows a split-type reel 3 provided with a reel 4, and the central part of the shaft 1a in the axial direction shows a reel 4 of the Kuhontazumi type. When winding up a small +lJ deck onto a reel, the winding conveyor is generally run to avoid contact with the outer periphery of the reel and the rolled balls, as described later. However, when using the split reel 3 as the reel, the cutout If the reel parts except for 2 are made to have approximately the same diameter, no problem will occur, but
When using a pick-up reel 4, there will be a difference between the speed of the belt and the speed of the reel depending on the position where the belt of the take-up conveyor is wound around the reel.
When J veneer is wound onto a reel, the outer periphery of the rolled ball becomes almost cylindrical, so there is no problem. In some cases, a plurality of rotary wheels 5 having different diameters are rotatably attached to the shaft 1b as shown in FIG. A reel 4' having a concave shape is formed and used.

6'' is formed by stretching a plurality of belts, and is arranged so that the belt can be wound around the outer periphery of the split reel 3 and the rolled ball B, which are not wound around by the lower winding conveyor 7. Therefore, both winding conveyors 7 and 12 are run at the same speed, and by contact running over the entire outer circumference of these split reels 3 and winding balls B, the split reels 3 and 12 of the small and medium veneer A are separated. The belt is always wound on the split reel 3 on the rocking wheel 10 of the lower winding conveyor 7.
The rocking wheels 15, 15' of the upper winding conveyor 12 are provided so that the bell 1- always runs in contact with the outer peripheral surface of the split reel 3 and the rolled ball B. In addition, the rocking wheel 15'' is rotatably provided at a predetermined position so that a passage for taking out small and medium veneers A can be formed during unwinding.

The outer peripheral surface of the ball B is provided so that it can be pressurized in a direction perpendicular to the direction of its fibers. For example, as shown in the embodiment, the pressing mechanism 17 is composed of a suppressing roller 18 and an operating mechanism 19 such as a fluid pressure cylinder, and the pressing roller 18 is connected to both winding conveyors 7 and 12 during rewinding.

Arranged so that pressure can be applied to the outer peripheral surface of the Note that it is desirable to configure the operating mechanism 19 so that the pressure roller 18 applies pressure to the outer circumferential surface of the rolled ball B only during rewinding. The same effect can be achieved even if the pressure roller 18 is freely rotated and forcibly driven at a circumferential speed equal to b or the running speed of the take-up conveyor. It's okay.

In the case of the split reel 3, the notch 2 is formed.
In addition, in the case of a spool-type reel 4 or 4°, the veneer A is wound in a generally cylindrical shape, and a gap is created in the recessed area. Therefore, when unwinding the small and medium veneer A from the rolled ball B wound in this manner, as shown in FIG. Due to the presence of the notch 2 or the void, the outer circumferential portion of the rolled ball B is deformed so that the center area is concave and both ends are raised. Generally speaking, the direction of the fibers in a veneer, that is, the axial direction! lii
Since the strength is strong in the direction perpendicular to the fibers, that is, the direction of bending, and the flexibility is poor, the small and medium veneer A can be corrected from bending, that is, curling, in the direction perpendicular to the fibers, by applying pressure from the suppression roller 18, etc. As shown in FIG. 4, the tip curls in the opposite direction and separates from the outer peripheral surface of the rolled ball B. Therefore, for example, if the suppression roller 18 etc. is disposed on the side where the rotation direction of the rolled ball B faces downward during rewinding, as in the embodiment, the rolled ball B immediately after the suppression roller 18 etc.
By simply providing the take-out conveyor 20 that moves forward and backward in relation to the diameter of the veneer, the small 1J veneer A can be easily and reliably taken out of the roll and fed to the next process. In addition, when the tip of the small and medium veneer A separates from the outer circumferential surface of the rolled ball B, a guide plate is provided to take it out and guide it to the conveyor 20, or a guide plate is provided between the tip and the outer circumferential surface of the rolled ball B. It is more effective if a jetting means for jetting the fluid is provided.

ある。As described above, the present invention winds up curled small and medium-sized veneers using a split-type reel with a notch near the center in the axial direction or a string-type reel with a recess in the center in the axial direction. A pressing mechanism is installed to apply pressure near the center of the rolled ball in the axial direction, and the curvature of the tips of the small and medium veneers wound around the rolled ball is corrected by utilizing the characteristics of the veneer. With this simple groove formation, it is now possible to easily and reliably take out curled small and medium veneers from the roll and ball and feed them to the next process, which was previously difficult to take out when unwinding. This makes it possible to greatly save labor and automate the processing of curled small and medium veneers in the veneer lace line, making a great contribution to the plywood industry.
