Claims

A catalyst case containing a monolithic catalyst is attached to the side surface of the adapter, and a part of the monolithic catalyst is connected to the gas inflow passage and functions as a reduction catalyst, and a part of the monolithic catalyst is connected to the gas outflow passage and functions as an oxidation catalyst. In addition to arranging functional parts in parallel, the exhaust gas that has passed through the reduction catalyst is reversed between an end surface of the monolith catalyst opposite to the adapter and an inner surface of the catalyst case opposite to the adapter.
