をその両端開口部において閉塞する端部材と、から成る
箱体を設けるとともに、前記箱体の両端部に各々取付け
られ、箱体の端面との間に環状空間を形成するカバーリ
ングを設け、かつ前記環状空間に内径が上記内筒体の内
径よりも小さく上記被検材が通る孔を有し少なくともそ
の一部が弾性体で形成された円板を各々収容させて、上
記内筒体と円板と被検材とによって第2の氷室を形成さ
せ、さらに、上記内筒体の所定位置に上記第1の氷室と
第2の氷室とを連通させて上記超音波探触子からの超音
波を被検材方向へ通すとともに第1の氷室から第2の氷
室へ水を供給するための流通口を孔設し゛たことを特徴
