Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent generation of a fall-off accident by incorporating a pin for pressing a plug and a spring for pressing the pin, in an adaptor, so that the plug can be locked even when one side only is inserted. CONSTITUTION:A plug is pushed in by aligning each hole position of a ferrule 1 and an adaptor body 6, and also the plug is pushed into the adaptor by aligning a pin 7 of the adaptor body 6 with a position on a groove part 9 of a coupling nut 5. As a result, a plug frame contacts an adaptor pin 10. When it is tried to further push in the plug, a spring force of the adaptor spring 10 works, and the plug is pushed backward. Therefore, when the plug is further pushed in against the spring force of the adaptor spring 10 and a coupling nut 5 is rotated as shown by operations of (a) and (b), the pin 7 of the adaptor body goes into a semicircular part of the groove part 9 of the coupling nut 5, a click sense is generated by the spring force of the adaptor spring 10, and also the plug is locked to the adaptor and clamped completely.

In general, optical fiber connectors require high mechanical positioning accuracy at the fiber butt part, so they are made with high precision processing to accommodate the ferrule into which the optical fiber is inserted, and the plug itself. It consists of an adapter that mates, aligns and fastens. Further, screw fastening is usually used to connect the plug and the adapter.

However, although this screw fastening method has sufficient fastening force, it is very difficult to operate, and therefore, many simple fastening type optical fiber connectors have been devised. Figure Nc1 shows the two sides of a conventional simple fastening type optical fiber connector, in which the ferrule 1 has a floating structure and the spring 2 for maintaining pressure on the ferrule end is also used for the simple fastening tsuba mokken. When the adapter plug and both sides are connected, the ferrule ends are pushed together by the spring force of the spring 2 and are received by the coupling nut 4 of the plug frame 3t, and the groove 9 of the coupling nut is inserted into the groove 42 of FIG. 1(M). By pushing the adapter all the way through the bottle 7 as if using a mouth motion, against the spring force of the spring 2, and rotating it further, the connection is completed as shown in Figure 1 (C). It was constructed. However, in this case, the plug piece is 1111 i
When tying, the ends of the ferrules do not press together, and the spring force of spring 2 is not effective, so even if the coupling nut 4 is pushed into the adapter and rotated, it will not come loose. t'!!l f1
The present invention has the disadvantage that the plug falls off from the adapter when connected, damaging the ferrule end face and the optical fiber, and falling off, deforming the plug due to impact and making it unusable as an optical fiber connector. The purpose is to eliminate the drawback of the above-mentioned fall-out accident and maintain the good operability of the 1j easy tightening h11, making it possible to tighten the plug even when there are 111 plugs and 41 people.

Regarding the present invention, No. 211 R1 is an example of a plan Ii of the present invention, 1 is a ferrule with an optical fiber fixed in a V-type at the center, 2 is a ferrule with a ferrule 7i when the plug is inserted on both sides, and a diagonal pressure nail on the j side. (, a spring for holding, a spacer for supporting the 3i Nisbring, 4 is a hollow cylindrical shape that includes the three Swiss spacers described in Pjl and covers the ferrule 1 and the spring 2, and the hollow cylindrical piece f!! The plug frame 5 is closed by a plate with a hole passing through the ferrule 10, and 5 is a hollow double-front shaped body that covers the plug frame. The coupling nut that I own and which is in contact with the plug frame 4 at the rear as shown in Figure 2 (b), 8 is an optical fiber, and the above parts make a simple fastening type optical fiber lid plug. fi - I'm sorry. Further, 6 is an adapter body which is a cylinder with a hole in which a ferrule is held in one direction, and has a bottle 7 protruding in the radial direction from the outer circle, and 8 is scattered inside the adapter body 6. 9 is an adapter pin that is pushed out of the adapter body by the adapter spring 8 inside the adapter body 6, and the above parts can be easily fastened. It consists of a number of shaped fiber optic connector adapters. FIG. 2 (α) shows a state in which one side of the plug is inserted into this adapter. Next, we will explain the operation when inserting the plug into the adapter. -1-i' Align the hole positions of the ferrule 1 and the adapter body 6 and push the plug in, and then press the plug between the bottle 7 of the adapter body 6 and the coupling nut 5.
Part 9 upper position ti'i: f, push the plug into the lid at the same time. Then, the plug frame and the 7-tab tap pin 1O come into contact. At this time, the position β2M between the pin 7 of the lower dowel body 6 and the groove 9 of the coupling nut 5 is:
Fig. 2 (Gz) Th When viewed from above, the state is as shown in Fig. 2 (C). If you try to push the plug in further, the spring force of 0 will come into play and push the plug backwards. Therefore, when the plug is further pushed in against the spring force of the adapter spring 10 and the coupling nut 5 is rotated, as shown in the 49-hole 6 piece shown in FIG. ? When the plug enters the semicircular part 90 of the adapter spring 10, you will feel a click due to the spring force of the adapter spring 10, and the plug will be completely locked into the adapter.
