Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the hot water at an upper layer from being also cooled by a coolant, decreased in temperature, in a jacket when it becomes coludy suddenly, by installing a heat exchanging jacket to the outer periphery of the hot water storage tank body of a solar heat system water heater. CONSTITUTION:In a hot water storage tank body 9, a heat exchanging jacket 11 is installed to a peripheral trunk part 9a except an upper section A and a lower section C both serving as a hot water collecting part, so that water in an intermediate tank B in the hot water storage tank 9 is heated by a heat transfer medium passing through the jacket 11. Thus, when it becomes cloudy suddenly, the heat transfer medium in the jacket 11 is sometimes reduced in temperature, but since the jacket is installed to the upper section A, hot water in the upper section A is maintained in a high temperature condition without being influenced by the heat transfer medium, reduced in temperature, in the jacket.
