Abstract

PURPOSE:To avoid an influence upon the accuracy of paper feeding by receiving the turning moment generated by fixing a large-capacity cassette to a copier on the large-capacity cassette mount bracket side. CONSTITUTION:A large-capacity cassette 4 engaged by an engaging member 11 generates the turning moment in the direction of an arrow D as long as the center of gravity of the large-capacity cassette 4 is not positioned on the same perpendicular line as the engaging member 11. The generated moment is received by bringing an adjust member 22 mounted on the end surface of the large-capacity cassette 4 into contact with the end surface of a mount perpendicular portion of a large-capacity cassette mount bracket 6. That is, the weight of the large-capacity cassette 4 is supported by the engaging member 11 and the mount perpendicular portion of the large-capacity cassette mount bracket 6. As the large-capacity cassette mount bracket 6 is fixed to a placing table 1 and the base of a copier body 2, any biasing force will not be applied to a paper feed roller 21 in the body 2, not to lower the paper feeding accuracy.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a large-capacity cassette mounting device that can be used in a copying machine.

Conventional Structures and Problems In recent years, in the copying machine industry, as the amount of copies has increased, there has been an increasing need for large-capacity cassettes that can hold more paper than ordinary cassettes. OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION It is an object of the present invention to provide a large-capacity cassette loading device for a copying machine that eliminates the drawbacks of the above-mentioned conventional examples.

Structure of the Invention In order to achieve the above object, the present invention comprises a large-capacity cassette mounting plate having a horizontal part for mounting on the main body of a copying machine and a vertical part for mounting a large-capacity cassette. The horizontal attachment part is attached to the main body of the copying machine, and the vertical attachment part is attached to 11 large-capacity cassettes.

Claims (1)
