(Prior art) Conventionally, as a method of imparting a sculptural three-dimensional pattern to a raised fabric, there is a method in which four blankets are fed to an embossing roller to express an embossed pattern on the raised surface, and the raised fabric is made of thermoplastic fibers. In some cases, methods are widely known in which a three-dimensional pattern is imparted by applying hot air to the nape surface, and a method is known in which a three-dimensional pattern is imparted by applying a chemical to the nape and removing it in a pattern.

(Object of the Invention) On the other hand, the idea of shaping a raised fabric using laser light is relatively new, and nothing has yet been realized to the extent that it can be implemented industrially. proposes a method that embodies the forming process of a raised fabric using laser light to an industrially practicable level and that allows delicate patterns or patterns to be continuously created into a raised fabric EX type. There is a particular thing.

The raised fabric applied to the method of the present invention has pile raised on the back side,
Alternatively, it is a fabric having raised fluff due to raising, and examples thereof include woven and knitted fabrics such as pile fabrics (mocket) and pile knitted fabrics (double raschel and sinker pile). The type of fibers constituting the nap is not limited by natural FFL fibers or artificial UR fibers, but it is preferable to use thermoplastic synthetic fibers because those that are melted and removed will clearly show the contours of the shaping. .

Next, the light-shielding mask used in the method of the present invention is endless and acts continuously on the nap fabric by rotation and movement, and has a portion in which laser beam transmission holes are appropriately bored, and a portion in which the laser beam is transmitted. It has certain areas of achievement and demerit.

By arranging the holes through which the laser beam passes in a pattern, a desired pattern can be realized on the raised surface. To apply the laser beam to the raised fabric, the laser spot is kept constant and the raised fabric is moved by an x-y device to allow the laser beam to act, or the raised fabric is fixed and the laser spot is rotated or moved. However, fixing the laser spot is difficult and requires large-scale equipment, and methods that move the laser spot create a fixed pattern on the fabric as it is continuously transported. This is often difficult. In the method of the present invention, the laser spot is moved and the napped fabric is also moved. That is, the napped fabric is moved mainly in its warp direction, and the laser spot is moved mainly in the weft direction of the napped fabric.

The movement of the laser spot is carried out by providing a laser beam traveling device on the opposite side of the napped fabric of the light shielding mask and irradiating the laser beam onto the napped fabric through the light shielding mask.

FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing an outline of an apparatus used in the method of the present invention. In FIG. 1, a laser beam generated by a laser generator 1 passes through a lens group 2 to adjust the beam diameter, and a rotating polygon mirror 3 for reflecting and sweeping the laser beam.
Then, the surface of the raised fabric 50 is further swept through the light shielding mask 4. The light-shielding mask 4 is made in an endless shape, and is attached to a chain 7 so that the fabric can be processed continuously.
.. It is rotatable by a gear 9 or the like and placed on the raised fabric, and the light-shielding mask 4 is provided with a laser beam transmission hole. Further, the shape of the skeleton light-shielding mask 4 is not limited to a cylindrical shape, but may also be an endless shape such as an elliptical shape, and it is sufficient that it rotates at the same circumferential speed as the transport speed of the fabric and acts continuously on the fabric. Reference numerals 6 and 6' denote guide rollers that allow the fabric to follow the light-shielding mask.

FIG. 2 is an enlarged plan view of an arbitrary part A of the light-shielding mask 4, in which transmitted light 10 of a laser beam is provided as appropriate. Further, in FIG. 1, the rotating polygon mirror 3 sweeps the laser beam in a rotation angle range of 0 by an oscillating rotation device 11 that gives an oscillating rotational motion to the rotating polygon mirror 3. At the same time, the oscillating rotation device @ti can be made movable on the guide rail 12 together with the rotating polygon [3], and the movement of the swinging rotation device 11 on the guide rail 12 is made possible by the steel cord 13 and the drive motor 14 that drives the steel cord 13. Alternatively, the core guide rail 12 may be a rotating body having a screw thread, and the rocking rotary device @11 having an engaging mechanism with the core screw thread can be run, and further, the rocking rotary device 11 itself can be A self-propelled function may also be provided. In short, it is preferable that the swinging and rotating device 11 has the function of being able to run in the width direction of the 11-puffed blanket 5.Also, as shown in the figure, the rotating polygon mirror 3 utilizes the side surface of a triangular prism. In addition to things, there are also four-sided prisms and hexagonal prisms.

A second layer of 5 mm was added to a raised fabric (raised fabric).
An endless continuous light mask having laser beam transmission holes arranged in the pattern shown in the figure is arranged as shown in FIG. Use a gas laser generator to increase the beam diameter of the laser beam to 5 mm51
Laser light was irradiated onto the raised fabric using a fabric with 11 sections. The rotating polygon mirror used in the laser beam traveling device uses a side surface of a triangular prism, and the angle is adjusted (fixed) so that the laser beam irradiates perpendicularly to the raised fabric. A swinging and rotating device with a folding mirror was reciprocated in the direction of the raised fabric using a steel cord to form a shape on the raised fabric. Raised fabric in a case where the speed of the raised fabric that is continuously transferred at the same speed as the fast light mask is varied, and at the same time, the speed of the reciprocating movement of the raised fabric in the width direction of the oscillating rotation device having the rotating polygon mirror is also varied. The depth of shaping on the raised surface of the fabric was measured, and the results are shown in Table 1.

In this way, the length of the nap can be changed by changing the transport speed of the nap fabric and the irradiation time of the laser beam, so the combination of these makes it possible to form a fabric with a complex pattern and a delicate pattern.
