Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a stabilized insecticidal composition containing potassium phthalimide as a stabilizer or a decomposition preventing agent to suppress the decomposition of 2H,1,3-thiazine tetrahydro-2-(nitromethylene). CONSTITUTION:The objective stabilized insecticidal composition is obtained by adding potassium phthalimide to an insecticidal composition containing 2H,1,3- thiazine tetrahydro-2-(nitromethylene) (abbreviated as TTNM). The amount of the potassium phthalimide is preferably 0.1-5wt% based on the resultant preparation. The effect of the stabilizer is most remarkable when the stabilizer is added to a preparation containing powdery carrier, e.g. powder, DL-type powder, fine granule, wettable powder, etc. in which TTNM is most liable to be decomposed.

H T T N M refers to Japanese Patent Application Laid-open No. 50-151882 and Japanese Patent Application Publication +1? (It is known in Publication No. 52-151727 that it has an excellent effect on controlling rice pests such as Nika 7 noinayu and T. truncatus japonicum. However, TTNM decomposes over time and its stability decreases. In particular, the decomposition of TTNM is carried out on a mineral carrier to produce powders, DL (driftless) type powders, fine granules, etc.
The effect is significant when used as granules and irrigation agents. This phenomenon is caused by the surface activity of the powder carrier, but T T N M itself also decomposes due to heat, light, water, etc. Therefore, this undesirable property poses a major hindrance to the formulation of agricultural chemicals containing TTNM, and a solution to this problem is desired.

Until now, as a prior art for preventing the decomposition of TTNM,
In JP-A-1T/+ 57-2208, polyvalent compounds having 2 to 3 hydroxyl groups bonded to a benzeno nucleus such as resorcinol, α-naph)-ole, β-naph)-ole, hydroquinone, and catechol are described. The use of pheno-2resn has been proposed. Furthermore, in Japanese Patent Application Laid-open No. 57-18604, potassium citrate, potassium sulfur, potassium malonate, potassium inebriant, potassium apple liquor, potassium succinate, potassium benzoate, potassium phthalate, potassium substituted benzoate, potassium lactate, etc. , potassium tartrate, potassium oleate, potassium sulfurate, potassium chloride, potassium valmitate, potassium stearate, potassium propionate, etc., or organic potassium 1 to 3°, monobasic potassium phosphate, dibasic potassium, etc. It has been proposed to use phosphorus oxyacid potassium salts such as potassium phosphorus, tribasic potassium phosphate, potassium pylori 7fft, potassium metaphosphate, potassium tripolyphosphate, potassium hexametaline, and potassium alkyl phosphate. Tokukai 11 again? J57-1860
No. 5 proposes the use of urea and urea, which have an upper limit on their thermal stability. However, these techniques cannot necessarily be considered as satisfactory in terms of the stabilizing effect of TTNM.

The present inventors have conducted various studies on stabilizing TTNM in preparations containing TTNM. As a result, it was found that the addition of potassium phthalimide significantly suppressed the decomposition of TTNM.

In addition, the agricultural chemical formulations to which the L stabilizer is added are not particularly limited, but include powders in which TTNM is most susceptible to decomposition, such as powders, DL type powders, fine granules, granules, and wettable powders. When added to preparations for body use, the anti-degradation effect is significantly improved.
