    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 頚管と共鳴室とからなるヘルムホルツ型共鳴器を有する
    自動車用エンジンのマフラに於いて、上記頚管の一部を
    上記共鳴室内に突出させ、その突出した頚管壁の円周方
    向に、実質的に軸方向長が異る複数の透孔を穿設したこ
    とを特徴とする自動車用エンジンのマフラ。
