Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve maintenance in each part by mounting freely openably and closably a fixing part, paper discharging part and cooling part as one unit to a body. CONSTITUTION:An open/shut unit 2A provided with fixing, paper discharging and cooling means is mounted to a body 1A. An operator removes first a cassette 14 and a tray 36, moves an original case 21 toward the left in an arrow direction, opens the open/shut unit by operating an opening latch and turning the unit in a clockwise direction around a pin 23 and makes access to the inside of the bodies 1A and 2A for maintenance. The unit is closed by a reverse procedure. The joining between a paper feed guide 18 and a fixing roller and the contact of a ventilation duct 20 with a packing for preventing leakage are surely performed. The maintenance in each part is thus improved.

Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 〔発明の利用分野〕 本発明は電子写真記録装置に係シ、特に電子写真方式の
複写機、プリンタ等の記録装置におけるメンテナンス性
のよい電子写真記録装置に関する。

発生頻度としてはカセットからの給紙部と、転写工程後
の定着、排紙部において多い。

性の向上が要求されてきた。このため一般的には給紙部
においては送紙ローラ、送紙ガイド等の一方を下げて隙
間が開くようにしてトラブルの解除を行う方法が採用さ
れてきた。−万定着、排紙部は紙へ圧力金かけたシ、熱
を加えたシするために構造が複雑になっているため、特
にメンテナンス性が重要視されている。このため一般的
には定着、排紙手段をユニット化して、このユニットを
第1図に示すように、操作側に引出したり(a)、略水
平に左右方向にスライドさせたD (b) 、また回転
開閉させた坦C) しているが、このいずれの場合も問
題点が多い。特に装置がコンパクト化するに従って定着
、排紙ユニットもコンパクト化され、上記のような開閉
方法ではメンテナンスに必要な充分な空間が得られず、
トラブルの解除、部品の交換に多大の時間が必要であっ
た。また第1図(d)に示すように装置の上部を全体に
回転開閉させる方法は、メンテナンス性の点ではよいが
、組立性、鞘度維持骨に対する信頼性が劣るという欠点
があった。

いる。また前記感光ドラム6の上方には内側に前記露光
ユニツ)8f:配設した冷却用通風ダクト20がありζ
さらに前記トップパネル4の上方には原稿を移送する原
稿ガラス21が配設されている。

送紙ガイド27、前記定着ローラ24をかこむ断熱ケー
ス28等が配設されている。また前記ユニットフレーム
22の上部にはファンダクト29が固設されておシ、そ
の内部にはファン30が内蔵されている。このファンダ
クト29と前記クリーナ12の端部との間にはパツキン
31が挾持されておシ、前記通風ダクト20からの空気
の洩れを防いでいる。32はファンダクト29の吸気口
で、前記ファン30の始動により前記露光ユニット8を
冷却して排気口33から排出する。
