In FIGS. 3 to 5, a recess 12 is formed on the floor side of the trunk room 1 and is depressed below the floor surface 10, and a spare tire 4 is housed in this recess 12.

The recess 12 has a front wall 12a curved so as to roughly follow the diameter of the spare tire, a space between both side walls 12b and 12C roughly following the width of the spare tire, and a bottom wall 12d that is curved along the width of the spare tire. It is formed in a slope shape so as to reach the rear opening surface 14 of the trunk room.

A sliding and preventing bead 12e is protruded from the slope-shaped bottom wall portion 12d as appropriate.

The means for fixing the spare tire 4 is the rear side panel 1 of the vehicle body.
A bracket 18 is provided at a portion corresponding to the spare tire center hole on the inside of the recess 12 so as not to reach the side wall 12b of the recess 12, and a mounting bolt 20 inserted from the center side of the trunk room is connected to the bracket 18 with a plate 22 interposed therebetween.
