Claims

The dust collecting section that collects dust from the intake air by applying a voltage is composed of a breathable insulating filter plate, a plate-shaped breathable positive electrode and a negative electrode that contact the filter plate from the front and rear surfaces, respectively, and the space between these two electrodes. An air cleaning device comprising: a high voltage power supply circuit for applying a high voltage to the air purifier; and an overcurrent prevention resistor connected in series between the high voltage power supply of the power supply circuit and at least one of the electrodes.
