Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform recording in the first color or the second color, by breaking layers down to the second color layer or the first color layer by electric discharge by changing the magnitude of a signal voltage. CONSTITUTION:When the signal voltage is, for example, 25-35V, a thin coated layer 6 and a matted vapor-deposited metallic layer 5 are broken by electric discharge, resulting in that the second color (e.g., red) layer 4 is exposed through broken holes 7, and a character, a numeral, a figure or the like of the second color is visualized. When a signal voltage of, for example, 50-70V is impressed, a surface-protecting thin coated layer 6, the vapor-deposited metallic layer 5, the second color (e.g., red) layer 4 and a vapor-deposited metallic layer 3 are broken by electric discharge, so that the first color (e.g., black) layer 2 is exposed through broken holes 8, and a character, a numeral, a figure or the like of the first color is visualized.

The recording paper used when carrying out this discharge recording method is a plain paper coated with a black layer such as carbon on one side, and a metal vapor deposited layer is further formed on this. When a needle and an electrode are placed on the metal vapor deposited layer of the recording paper and a signal voltage is applied between the recording needle and the electrode, a current flows from the recording needle to the electrode, but most of the power is consumed by the contact resistance of the recording needle. , the surface layer in this area is destroyed and scattered, exposing the black layer underneath to perform visible recording. However, conventional recording paper of this type can only record in black, which limits the amount of recorded information, and it is troublesome to have to supplement with other colors after recording.

In addition, synthetic resin films are generally stretched to improve their physical properties.
Improvements in transparency, barrier properties, heat shrinkability, etc. have been achieved, but the biaxially stretched products are even more difficult to tear than the unstretched ones, and are a bit difficult to tear with a slightly thicker cut. It does not tear, and even if it does tear, the tear direction is not constant because it is stretched in both axes. In particular, synthetic resin films with high mechanical stability and dimensional stability, such as polyester and polyolefin, cannot be cut by hand unless they are cut using a knife.

However, with conventional discharge recording sheets, the dot print is difficult to see because the underlying colored layer is exposed due to scratches caused by the discharge printing electrode needle and the destruction of the vapor deposited film due to residual heat on the needle head due to discharge, leaving traces of the printed electrode scanning line. There are also disadvantages such as dot printing, which cannot be printed clearly because the discharge occurs at the outer periphery of the discharge printing electrode needle or is localized in one part, resulting in indistinct printing.

Next, as shown in FIG. 5(a), the discharge recording sheet 11 without the surface protection/discharge optimization layer 6 has the disadvantage that the electrode scanning line marks 17 of the print 15 are difficult to see, and the print dots are As shown in Figure 5(b), the discharge may occur on the outer periphery of the dot 16, or if the dot 16 is unevenly distributed, it may not be possible to print clearly, resulting in blurring as shown in Figure 5(c). In the invention, as shown in FIG. 6(a), the print 15 is clear, and there is no electrode scanning line trace, and as shown in FIG. 6(b), the dots 16 are discharged on the average, so there is no uneven pattern. Since there is no print 15 as shown in Figure 6(c)
It is possible to produce clear and easy-to-read prints without traces of electrode scanning lines.

As described above, according to the first embodiment of the present invention, a first colored layer is formed on one surface of a supporting substrate, and a metal vapor deposited layer and a matted second colored layer are formed on this layer. forming a matte metal vapor deposition layer and a surface protective thin film on this second color layer, and causing discharge destruction to the second color layer or the first color layer depending on the magnitude of the signal voltage. Since recording can be performed in the first or second color, and an extremely thin surface protection/discharge optimization layer is formed on the surface of the vapor deposited layer, the printing is clear and there are no traces of electrode scanning lines. The dots are discharged on an average basis, so there is no bias, so the print is clear and easy to see without traces of electrode scanning lines, increasing the amount of recorded information. In particular, since the vapor deposition surface is matte, it can be printed on white paper. It is easy to see because it can be made with a sheet surface close to the surface of the sheet, and multi-colored expressions can be easily achieved using only voltage differences. There is no need to prepare multiple electrode needles, and the configuration of a recording device that uses this recording sheet is simple. It has the effect of becoming something.

In addition, according to an embodiment of the second feature of the present invention, a first color layer is formed on one surface of a supporting base material, and a metal vapor deposited layer is formed on this first color layer, and conductive fine particles are mixed therein. A second color layer is formed, and a matte metal vapor deposited layer is further formed on the second color layer, and discharge destruction occurs up to the second color layer or the first color layer depending on the magnitude of the applied signal voltage. By doing this, it is possible to perform recording in the first or second color. In addition to the above-mentioned effects, the second color layer 4A can be easily destroyed by discharge.
It is possible to improve the display efficiency.

Furthermore, since an ultra-thin surface protection and discharge optimization layer is formed on the surface of the vapor deposited layer, the plastic sheet substrate has appropriate rigidity even with an extremely thin plastic film, and is easy to tear. The surface of the vapor deposit layer is pure white. It exhibits no glitter, the recorded letterforms are transparent, and the carvings appear to be deep, making it very easy to see.
The resin coating treatment, which is a step to prevent the release of moisture and gas in the paper, is a problem in this invention, and unlike paper, it is not hygroscopic, does not curl, and does not deteriorate its insulation.

In addition, since resin sheets can be made thinner than paper, the diameter of the winding υ can be reduced, making them extremely advantageous for use in vacuum chambers that are easy to use, such as batch-type vapor deposition. There is no deterioration in the quality of the deposited film due to the acid or alkali contained in the paper, and there is no associated increase in resistance, and there is no bad odor emitted during discharge recording, which is a common problem with deposited materials, making it suitable for mass production and suitable for casual applications. There are effects such as being able to obtain an appropriate and inexpensive discharge recording sheet, such as being able to select paper of any thickness.
