Claims

[Scope of utility model registration request]

(1) A movable electrical contact and a fixed electrical contact each having a conductor and a contact fixed to the conductor are arranged so that the direction of electricity flowing through each conductor in the closed state is the same, and the direction of electricity is approximately straight. In a circuit breaker, a fixed contact is fixed to the center of the fixed conductor in the width direction of the fixed electric contact, and the rear end of the fixed contact is fixed to the fixed conductor at the center of the width direction. A substantially U-shaped through groove is provided that extends rearward from the edge and divides the current flowing through the fixed conductor to both ends in the width direction. A circuit breaker characterized in that an arc traveling path is provided so as not to become an electric path, and the upper surface of the arc traveling path is formed higher than the fixed contact.
